How to use it

Drag your images into the box or click to choose them.
Set the quality in the left panel. Lower quality means a smaller file, and 70-80% is usually a good balance for photos.
Optionally enter a maximum width to shrink the pixel size too.
Check each image's before and after size in the result table, then download everything as a ZIP.

Frequently asked questions

Why do PNG images shrink so little?

PNG is lossless and ignores the quality setting. To make a PNG much smaller, change the format to WebP or JPG. Choose WebP if you need transparency.

Will the image quality suffer?

JPG and WebP lose a little detail as quality drops. Between 70% and 80% the difference is hard to see on most photos. If you are not happy, raise the quality.

Are my images uploaded anywhere?

No. Compression happens in your browser on your computer. Location and camera data (EXIF) are also removed from the output.
