How to use it

  1. Paste your list into the box, one item per line.
  2. On the Sort tab pick A→Z, Z→A, by number, by length, reverse or shuffle.
  3. Optionally turn on Remove duplicates and Skip empty lines.
  4. Copy the result.

Frequently asked questions

Is the alphabet order language-aware?

Yes. Sorting follows the alphabet of the page language, so on the Turkish page ç, ğ, ı, ö, ş and ü go to their proper places.

How are numbers sorted?

Natural sorting puts 2 before 10. The By number option uses the first number in each line, and lines without a number go to the end.

Does upper and lower case matter?

By default it is ignored. Turn that option off to take letter case into account.
